New Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6

New Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Surfaces Online And Looks Stunning

The luxurious Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept surfaced online ahead of its official debut.

Scheduled to appear at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Mercedes couldn’t contain the enormous, 6-meter-long car anymore.

The German car maker released three teasers on social media, announcing the unveiling of the car at the prestigious event held on the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California.

As expected, it carries a familiar shape, adopting streamlined silhouette, similar to that of other Mercedes concepts, including the 2004 Maybach Excelero, the Vision Grand Turismo, and even the IAA Concept.

It’s unknown (yet) what powers the behemoth, but the pictures show a long, elongated, split hood – reminiscent of the old, bespoke coachbuilds. The entire front fascia is governed by a gaping wide chrome grille with vertical slats, flanked by a pair of slim LED headlights.

The cabin, secluded by two gullwing doors, appears to be a technological sanctuary, sheltering the occupants from the outside world. It features an enormous heads-up display along the width of the windshield, whilst the lack of a transmission tunnel could indicate an electric powertrain.

The high-tech feeling of the cabin is further emphasized by what appears to be a touch sensitive surface, surrounding the two passengers. The surface, possibly made out of touchscreen displays, embeds the seat control functions and the navigation system.

We’ll definitely find out more about this stunning-looking vehicle once Mercedes will officially unveil it.

Thanks to everyone who sent in a tip!

First RHD 2016 Shelby

First RHD 2016 Shelby Super Snake Mustang Arrives In Australia

Even though Ford is proudly using the Shelby name to give meaning to their new GT350 Mustang, the company that Carroll Shelby built is still plowing along nicely with their own projects.

One of those projects is the Super Snake upgrade, available for 2007-2014 Shelby GT500 models or the 2015-2016 Mustang GT, which is what we're looking at here.

This is officially the first RHD (right hand drive) 2016 Shelby Super Snake to hit Australian shores and it definitely came to play with over 750 HP coming from its tuned 5.0-liter supercharged V8.

In this US, the optional 750+ package costs upwards of $54,999 and includes Whipple 750+ or Kenne Bell 750+ superchargers, an upgraded cooling package, differential cooling, transmission cooling, Shelby Wilwood four-piston rear brakes, plus the aggressive exterior kit which comes with Weld Racing one-piece Super Snake 20" wheels.

This particular build was completed by Mustang Motorsport Official in Australia, where car enthusiasts are used to laying down rubber with help from their V8-powered machines.

Citroen Reveals

Citroen Reveals CXperience Concept Ahead Of Paris Debut [49 Pics+Video]

Citroen has revealed a new large saloon concept called CXperience ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.

The company says they wanted to demonstrate their ability to transfer their current design approach in the big saloon segment.

Measuring 4.85m long, 2m wide and 1.37m tall, the new Citroen CXperience concept features very short overhangs to allow for a gargantuan 3m-long wheelbase, making it a really striking car to look at.

Power comes from a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain that allegedly produces between 250hp and 300hp, with Citroen claiming an all-electric driving range of 37 miles (60km). An eight-speed automatic gearbox is mounted transversely between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. Citroen’s Advanced Comfort programme is the company’s modern try to bring unparalleled levels of comfort, using a new, innovative suspension setup with hydraulic cushions.

As you would expect from a Citroen of this size, the real party piece is the cabin. Inspired by “architecture, decoration and furnishings”, the interior is a mix of clean design with premium materials and cutting-edge technology. The rear suicide doors combined with the lack of a b-pillar further enhances the impression of space. The seats are upholstered with yellow mesh fabric with their backrests featuring walnut wood that matches that on the dashboard.

A 19-inch, 16/3 format rectangular screen is the dashboard’s highlight and acts as the vehicle’s control center, grouping functions like air-conditioning, driving aids, navigation and media sources. The rear passengers have access to a tablet that lets them adjust their seats, climate control and media playing.

The exterior door mirrors have been replaced by cameras that send their feed onto small digital screens mounted on the inner door panels and along with the front and rear cameras provide a 360-degree view of the car’s immediate environment.

Ferrari 599

Kode57 Is Based Around Ferrari 599 And Has 702HP 6.0-liter V12 [w/Video]

Floyd Mayweather has already ordered one and now we have some additional information about Ken Okuyama's Kode57 supercar, including what powers it.

Not long after the Japanese designer confirmed that he'll be working on a new car project every year, we've learned that the Kode57 is based around the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and uses the 599's screaming 6.0-liter V12 engine.

In a standard 599, that engine punches out an impressive 612 hp but engineers at Ken Okuyama Cars have managed to increase that figure to 702 hp. What's more, the Kode57 is thought to weigh just 3,200 pounds (1,451 kg), meaning it is over 300 kg lighter than the 599 and should be capable of Ferrari F12 levels of performance.

Helping to achieve the car's scarce overall weight is the extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum throughout its construction. The lack of normal doors, a big windscreen and a roof also help.

Only five examples of the Kode57 are destined to be built, each priced at a cool $2.5 million.

Shanghai

Shanghai

The both photos are from Shangai, in China, but the picture on the left is in 1990 and the other is in 2010.

The images show a zone of the city that is placed in the neighborhood of a river, but the first the city is ancient and  the second is very modern and futurist.

In the picture one there are a lot of small houses made of brick, all of them are close together, but in the second there are big skyscrapers made of glass with advertising in the front and many colors.
In the old city there are a “kind” of island with green space and parks, but in the recent city there are only high buildings like the Perla Tower, a communication’s tower of 263 meters.
Another difference between the photos is the weather, because in the first it’s cloudy ant in the second it’s completely clear. The first picture is more illuminated because it’s daytime but in the second is already night.
Another difference between them is than in picture number one there are more ships that in the second one.

I think that the city has changed so much for the money and the tourists. I prefer the first one because there are more space and I think is less oppressive.
